The short version: if you submitted a mortgage inquiry to us, we delivered it to one licensed mortgage professional who paid us a fee for it. Under California law that is a "sale" of personal information. You can tell us to stop, at no cost and without giving a reason, by emailing legal@visionxlab.com with the subject "Do Not Sell My Personal Information".
1. Your Right, in Plain Language
California residents, and residents of a number of other US states with comparable privacy laws, have the right to direct a business to stop selling or sharing their personal information with third parties. It sits alongside your other privacy rights, which are the rights to know, access, correct and delete, and which are set out in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
Exercising this right costs nothing, needs no explanation, and does not change the price or the quality of anything we provide to you.
2. What We Sell, and What We Do Not
VisionXLab is a mortgage lead generation company, operated by M4 Labs LLC. When you submit a form on one of our landing pages or respond to one of our lead ads, we deliver the information from that submission, meaning your name, your contact details and the mortgage details you gave us, to one licensed mortgage professional so that they can contact you about your inquiry. They pay us a fee for that delivery.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), providing your information to a paying mortgage professional is a "sale," and we treat it as one. We also share advertising and analytics identifiers with platforms such as Meta and Google, which may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What that does not include:
- We do not sell your information to data brokers.
- We do not sell it to anyone unrelated to the inquiry you submitted.
- We do not resell the same inquiry to a list of buyers.
The whole point of the exchange is to connect you with one mortgage professional who can look at what you asked about. Section 5 of our Privacy Policy makes the same disclosure in full, with a table of what is collected and what is sold. Nothing on this page narrows it.
3. How to Opt Out
We operate online, so email is the fastest and most reliable route:

Please include: the name, email address and telephone number you submitted, so that we can find your record.
We act on verifiable opt-out requests within 15 business days. You may also use an authorized agent, in which case we will ask for reasonable proof of their authorization.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): we treat a browser-based GPC signal as a valid opt-out request, and you do not need to email us as well. On a visit that sends the signal we do not load the Meta advertising pixel and we do not load Microsoft Clarity. A browser signal applies to the visit, not to a record we already hold, so if you have already submitted an inquiry please send the email above as well so that we can mark it.
If you also want to limit our use of sensitive personal information, which for us means the estimated credit score, loan amount and property value you gave us, email the same address with the subject "Limit Sensitive Information".
4. What Opting Out Does Not Do
- It does not pull back an inquiry already delivered. Once a mortgage professional holds your information as part of fulfilling a request you made, we cannot remove it from their systems. Ask them directly, and we will pass your request on to them if you ask us to.
- It does not by itself stop calls, texts or emails about an inquiry you already made. Opting out of sale and sharing is a separate thing from asking to be left alone. To stop messages, reply STOP to any text, or email legal@visionxlab.com. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy covers this.
- It does not stop us from disclosing information where the law requires it, or to the service providers who host and operate our systems on our behalf.
